1 This 2 year old little girl was in a car accident

Her and her parents, along with her siblings, were in a car accident on I-96 in Brighton, Colorado. All 6 were thrown from their SUV when the car flipped. The police officer sang Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star to the little girl to distract her from the scene.  

2 Officer Nick was the third responder

He took the little girl, while other officers and paramedics attended to the rest of the family.

 3 The driver lost control due to a blow out in the rear tire.

The father died at the scene, while the others survived.

 4 Officer Nick Struck got a pit in his stomach when he heard children were involved

He claims to have done what he hoped someone else would do for his little girl in a similar situation.

 5 Only one child was wearing a seatbelt.

The children ranged from 5 years old to an infant, and the infant was the only one buckled up.
